What I am saying is that having a god that requires we have faith in him is not unreasonable. We can deduct his existence from the Cosmos... The design argument... etc.

With regards to Humanism.
I believe people need to be challenged. I don't just accept things if I can HELP it. It is my nature to Know as much as I can about something I cherish.

My faith in Christ is such.

Although, funnily enough... The speaker who was supposed to be giving a talk on Shamanism was ill. So an emergency speaker needed to be found...and was!

He presented arguments (that did not convince me he knew what he was talking about!) about the Historical Jesus presented in the Gospels.

He claimed that there was no consistency and that many people claimed to be Jesus...

He discussed many things that were new to my ears and many things that I thought had no back bone.

Would you label the way you live your life under any of the brands that exist today??

(eg Christian, Jain, Marxist...??/
