Libby, getting ready for our boat ride. We actually were off shore when Chef appeared on the beach - more guests came, so we had turn around and leave Libby to attend to business.

As we were coasting, our lookout pointed to the water - the young men were spear fishing pretty far from shore.

Our lookout man - I refer to him as "Indian".

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Back to the last night.

I'm so enjoying the music and the atmosphere at Jus Cheers. The English couple - the lady really likes to dance. I get liquor for all of us, the husband was kind enough to "keep rolling". All is great.

In no time Curry comes back with his friend Karen. She also works at Sand Castles. I give Curry a handful of bills to buy liquor for him and his friend and our driver (who is sleeping in his car). By now the English lady is really moving! Attracting an audience. Karen and I want to leave and go to Old Hits. The English couple likes where they are and don't want to leave. We let some more time pass and I ask Curry if we can leave. By now the English lady is not too steady on her feet - Curry and Karen look after everything.

We wake the driver and we are off in the hills. We reach the place and I'm in heaven. Old Hits! The driver parks and we go into the bamboo fenced yard. It's very dark. There are a few hundred people in the yard. The vibe is wonderful. Curry looks after the gate for all of us. What a wonderful man he is. We make our way through the yard - people are friendly, bantering back and forth, the music is great! I want to stay forever. We are by far the only "tourists" in the yard.

When you walk into the yard, the stage with D'j is on the right hand side. On the far left is a barn of sorts all made of bamboo, there is a roof on this structure. We settle there. Curry gets liquor for all of us. The music moves you! There is an interesting man on my left we are chatting back and forth - but i'm leaving in a.m. so I don't really pursue this. Karen walks me to the bathroom. I don't really know how long we stayed but it was not long enough for me. The English couple and I don't want to leave but Curry and Karen have to work in the am.

As we make our way out Karen says "the party cock-up"! The man at the gate asked how I liked the vibe and if I had a good time. We chat, I express my gratitude of being there and how much I enjoyed myself. I ask where we are. He said: "STEER TOWN, POINCIANA YARD" I tell him I'm going to post this info on the net. He said "ya man". We find our driver and off we go. Karen lives just around the corner from the party, she's the first to go. We drive the English couple to Sand Castles and Curry takes me to Fisherman's Point. I'm ecstatic that once again I experienced the "real Jamaica". That is my goal every trip. I want to leave money with Curry and go to the hotel for my wallet. We go to a bank machine and all is looked after. Curry gives me his cell number for future use and walks me to my door. He's a perfect host. One of a kind. As I reach my room, I look at the time. 5:00 a.m. Time for bed. Libby is picking me up in a few short hours.

Thanks. I'm not a good writer like you but manage to get the point across.

BND1999: You go girl, right now. Isn't it wonderful to see your favorite places and people?

This is my second stay with Libby and will make it my personal goal to stay with her a few days every time. She offers that personal touch that you don't get at the A-1's. February looks good to me.
One more picture. I believe this is on the way to Long Bay from Zion Country.
