Mikell, I want to thank you for the wonderful gift of books that you gave Soloman to give to me. I have feasted on them ever since! The finished ones are making the rounds at Point Village, and the smiles that come from other starving readers is a joy to see.

Sala's "thumb's up" in front of our house was funny - after two years of scrimping and saving and squeezing every Jamaican dollar until it begs for mercy.....the little house is due to get an addition (bedroom and indoor bathroom - what a treat! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] ) by this summer. This is a shot that will go into our online scrapbook, for sure.

so glad you liked the books...i tucked them into my luggage at the last minute after remembering that leslie told me you like to read...nice to know they were appreciated...

don't know if you've seen this photo...but here's another one of solomon at mayfield...just so you know what he does when he's supposed to be working!! (grin)

WOW !! what an adventure you had in a weeks time.
i felt like i was right there with you both. thank you for sharing your trip & pictures. i agree with what u said at the end of report when u got back home, "be in the here now " not where u cant be. i admit that i often daydream of my time spent in jamaica,so when i read the report of the last day there, i had tears in my eyes & a lump in my throat.remembering......when....
