Hi HuskerJohn,
Yes the "Walk-a-bout" with the Pirate and spending time with him on several days and night was the hi-lite of our trip at New Years.
He's shown the wife and I the inside scoop on so many places and been a true one man welcoming commitee to Negril.
Getting to spend time with him was an honor we'll never forget.

I had a question about your travel coffee maker...
I heard you praise it in previous trip reports, and am thinking of purchasing one of my own.
Is yours anything like this one: Coffee Pot
If not, what brand would you recommend, and can you point me in the direction of where to purchase it?

Hi Bandanna,
Our little gem of a pot is slightly different, but this one would do the trick I'm sure.
Ours has the cups also and comes in a canvas zippered bag. It's abot the same size though.
It was purchased at a travel store several years ago now. Be sure to clean it out with some vinegar and water after every trip and you'll get years of good use.

Bandanna-thank you for that link..that's great. I've brought two down with me now..and each time they didn't make it...no matter how I packed them..but they were regular coffee makers not ones designed for travel. Love this.. Thanks again...

Hi Swedish,
The Coffee maker I have is made by Philips and is called the Cafe Duo...I was mistaken it didn't come with a Bag...the wife made that.
She says wrap it in a shirt and it'll survive the trip.Try a Philips dealer in your area.
Glad to see you on this board also.
