Ochigal, I am enjoying your report so much. Keep writing and posting those pictures, and for Christ sakes, get those other developed! Magic flies all over the country taking lonely travelers to destinations of happiness and he needs those pictures to keep him stable and happy. It's not me you see, it's all for Magic. One correction though.....I wouldn't exactly define places like Tallahassee, Cincinnati, Charlotte, or Tulsa as "destinations of hapiness" !

However, for the second day in the row, we taxied behind Northwest 1858, and for those of you who don't know, that's the 8:41am departure from Memphis to MoBay. It's so frustrating! Knowing that while that plane will be in MoBay in 2:45h, I'm not gonna be anywhere I want to be! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

Oh well, such is life.

So its Tuesday already...our last full day....I dont even want to think about it...we leave tomorrow. Babyfather comes by that morning on his way to work, says its an easy day so Kyle asks to go with him. BF looks at me...I say sure...just make him be careful and make him wear a life jacket...even if the boats at the dock.

So off they go about 8:00am. I am kind of releived cause I have lots I want to do. I get ready and call Libby. She says anytime is good, so I tell her I will be out around 10:30. Shortly after my phone rings. Its my friends Carl and Beatrice. They are from Vancouver Canada but also on the island in Mandeville. They want to come out for a day...so I say sure. Carl is Jamaican anc Bea is Canadian, they have a cute little boy named adrian.

So I head out on my errands...first thing is the cash machine...since funds are low and I have some shopping to do today. Then I head to Jamaica Grande to arrange our bus transport to the airport the next day. While in the JTL office I see one of my old sales reps from Heave-Ho. Was nice to run into her.

Shortly after I make my reservation my cell phone rings..I am still in the JA grande lobby. Its Kyle...he wants to come with me. I can tell he is upset about something so I tell him I am right there and to have daddy bring him up to the Lobby. When they finaly reach, I see that Kyles clothes are all wet...and he looks a little mad. Babyfather tells me how that morning on the way down to the boat they were walking by the pool and kyle was behind him and all of a sudden he hears a SPLASH! He looks and Kyle had dropped into the pool...not sure how...just plop...right in, fully clothed and all. Well Kyle ws fine...but babyfather got the giggles, and couldnt stop. then he made the fatal mistake of telling his coworkers about it. Well Kyle doesnt handle being laughed at very well, at 7 years of age, he hasnt learned to laugh at himself...so needless to say he was a bit pouty.

So, no problem, I tell him he can go with me to seee Libby. We stop by the apartment to get Kyle dry clothes and to grab the bag of school supplies I brought for the school that Libby has adopted. As we take off for Pt. Maria, my cell phone rings...its babyfather and he is talking a mile a minute...I had to tell him twice to SLOW DOWN...well apparently, in an attempt to chear Kyle up after his pool mishap...Babyfather arranged for one of the parasail boats to give Kyle a speed boat ride. The drive said no problem but he had to run over to the peir and then would be back. Well by the time the guy came back Kyle has already decided to leave and was on his way up to me. the parasial boat took off and within minutes caught fire and exploded and sunk.

I got chills just thinking that Kyle could ahve been on that boat...it was a freak accident and everyone on the boat got off into the water before the gas tank exploded....but had kyle been on there...who knows if he would have been OK. Babyfather and I both said....God works in GREAT ways...he reached down and pushed Kyle into that pool for a reason...Just goes to reinforce my favorite thought that EVERYTHING happens for a reason.

So, we make it out to Libbys...WOW...what a view she has from her yard. Sorry I didnt get a picture of it (not yet anyway...may be on one of the rolls).

We chat for a while, then Kyle askes to see the beach. So I leave Libby to a chore she was working on and him and I head down to her beach. It was a nice rocky beach...I love to sit and sift through beach rocks...you find some wonderful stuff. I collected a good size bag of beach glass while Kyle sat there and skipped rocks. It was so peaceful...Kyle loved the place.

A young boy came by, so we talked to him for a while...

Then his friends came in from their fishing...they had a trophy...they had killed an eal...this one wont be biting at them anylonger...


After a while we go back up to the house. Libby and I visit some more. We compare notes on living in Jamaica. Then its time to go...Just as we are getting up...LIbbys son and two of his friends arrive, they have a HUGE bag of conch. Hmmm...too bad I cant stay for dinner... And of course one of Libby and I...Sure glad Kyle has learned to use my digital, otherwise I wouldnt be in any of these.


So we say our goodbyes and our "see you agian soon's" and off we go. Have to get back for Carl and Beatrices arrival.

Ochi I am just catching up. I am soooooooooo glad that you agree with me about that D....Island village monstrasity thrown up in the middle of my city. Darn that Chris Blackwell. Also Kyle is absolutely gorgeous.

Isnt he a LOOKER...at 7 he comes home with girls phone numbers snuck into his back pack...ALREADY! When I ask him whats this...he looks at it then will just roll his eyes and say Oh...I think Kayla ( or who ever ) put that in my back pack at lunch.
