Monday May 26th
Wake up get the kids washed. Go downstairs to wait for the taxi driver. I am waiting and waiting. I call his cell phone no answer. He showes up about 45 minutes late with a nice plate of food. I asked him did you get that at Fisherman's Beach. Yep he did. I chew him out saying did you every think we would want some. So he takes us to the Island Grill because I want to get Marley some scrambled eggs. I go in and try to order them but they say they don't make them anymore. So I say okay give me a fried egg. We cant do that. So I order 3 egg and cheese sandwiches. I get to the car open them up and wow it is a fried egg, thought they couldn't do that. So we eat on our way up to the hills, Chaps is fussing because he didn't want to eat a burger and the driver explains to him what the sandwich is so he eats. We get up into the hills and Marley's Grandpa greats us and tells us that everyone is down at his mother's house. I told him I saw Lisa and Jazz walking down on our way up so we will walk down there. Go down say hello to BF, he is hung over once again from the dance the night before. They are all sitting out on the veranda braiding hair and just hanging out. BF, Marley and I go upstairs so BF's Grandmother can see Marley. Grandmother still isn't feeling good but is very nice and we sit and chat for a bit. Marley wants to go back downstairs to play with the kids and Jazz's bike. So we head down and it is hot. No more rain beautiful sunshine. Man I can't wait to get to the beach today. So I sit Marley on my lap and they try to braid her hair. She screams bloody murder but they get the job done and it looks really cute. We walk back up to the fathers house and hang out there for a bit the driver will be back at 1:30. Well 1:30 comes and goes and BF, Chris and their cousin Oliver ask me if I gave him any money. I told him ya, I gave him half. So they chew me out saying he isn't going to come back. We wait some more and Marley falls asleep. When she wakes up I say lets go walk and find a taxi because I have to get back to the hotel before Michelle and Michele show up. I was suppose to leave the key at the desk but I didn't. We start walking get to the bottom of the hill (yes the one I didn't want to walk up and down) and a taxi pulls up with our driver in the passenger seat. He tells us he couldn't get through because the road is closed because they are laying the pipe in the middle of the road so he had to walk and get another taxi. So we start down the hill get to the construction area get out of the car...walk past all the digging and get into his car. We get back to the hotel just as the girls tour bus is pulling in. Perfect timing. We go upstairs and get ready for the beach.
