I've just been catching up on your trip report - your storytelling has been awsome, and the pictures take me back! Thanks for sharing!

Also wanted to say - I really like your tattoos! I've been wanting something "tribal" myself, but the prices have went up ALOT since my last inking....

Thanks for the compliments everybody. i really enjoyed writting it, and i just can't get enough of looking at my pictures, so that part was my favorite. I'll give Isla lots of love & hugs from everybody that wants me too [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Believe me queenb It's on my mind all the time. Isla tells me she is going to move to Jamaica and has decided she'll let me move in with her, which came about after much begging on my part [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

About 2 weeks after we left Isla started talking about all the things she missed, and shortly after that began asking me daily when we were going back. She now regularly reminds me we have to go back there soon. It'll be awhile with my current financial situation, but there is always hope that something will improve, and we'll go back sooner, rather than later [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Thank you packerwmn, I know what you mean about pricing on tattoo's most of mine were done by me, except for the shoulder ones of course, that was the only way I could afford it , it was cheaper to buy the equipment than pay someone else to do it, also I was planning to apprentice and go pro at one point although that is a long faded dream but I liked the experience of designing, and doing my own tattoo's. Never had to worry about contracting any infections, or diseases either because I was the only person my equipment ever touched [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

This was absolutely beautiful, the pictures, the writing. It was heartfelt and breathtaking. It has been almost 3 years since I have been back to Jamaica, and trust me you made it seem like yesterday. I felt all of the anticipation of arriving, being there and leaving. This last report actually brought me to tears, it brought back soooooooo many memories, hence the tears.

All I can say is God Bless you and Thank you a million times.

If you ever get the urge to design something (tattoos) - I'd be interested! I'm thinking of something for my calf (ankle to knee on the side). I wish I was creative enough to design something for myself!!

ps. I'm wishing you & Isla will get back to Jamaica sooner as opposed to later!!

Reb, I am glad I got the ever so brief chance to stop by for a few minutes while you were here, though I am sorry that work kept me from filling in for you as babysitter at Firefly so you could get out a bit more.

It is difficult to revisit a place of dreams when responsibilities change. I know that had a lot to do with the turns and twists of this trip. Perhaps there can be a short visit someday where you can come solo and have the chance to sit and simply enjoy drifting with the moment? (But woe is you if Isla finds out! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] )
