here's a better view of that stone patio below the restaurant...used it often to go snorkeling from...




ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes!!! there is my spot. I miss it so. I had a wonderful day right there, it was a little to cold and a little rainy to snorkel that day but, next time!!

not sure who matthew is...one of the owners?

no...we didn't meet him...
but i did get an email from paul (who is one of the owners) in response to my thank you for the wonderful hospitality while we were there...he was very grateful for all the wonderful PR i've been giving the place! it's genuine...we truly thought it was a little slice of paradise and can't heap enough praises on it...

we highly recommend a stay there.

a few last pictures taken from the road outside before we left...not quite as picturesque...and it's hard to tell how lovely the place is until you step inside the stone walls...


a view across the road...many vendors selling everything from t-shirts to wood carvings...and they will notice you every time you leave the resort!

Thank you Mikell. Always wondered what was behind that stone wall. Must have passed it 50 times or more. The closest we have been has been from the Parrott. I love that area too! You can pick up some stuff so old, but better than the stuff pon the beach. Pretty Pics girl! That is where my daughter ended up buying her sarong.

I just got back today and had a chance to eat at the Rock House. Thanks so much for posting pictures. I was wondering what the rest of the place looked like as we got there after sunset and only really saw the dining area (which was fabulous).

Now I've got to figure out how to post some of my pics!

Wonderful pictures of one of the most magical places on the West End. Thank you so much for sharing. I will be spending at least a week in one of those villas in October for the FOJ bashment.

the very best place to buy a sarong is on that road...up towards hallzers...it's called sarongs to go...and sally ann is the owner...an australian woman with the most amazing and beautiful collection of sarongs...maybe that's where your daughter bought hers...i got two there!

be sure to figure out how to post pictures...we love to see them...store them at an online site like snapfish (which i used)...and then you can enter them as images using their URLs...
