we were the ones 'not ready to go yet' - you an me an peaches sat at that table and reasoned with sala for a good 15 minutes about go-or-stay? go-or-stay?

Finally we tole him go carry them noisy gals leanin on the horn, and we stayed and chilled for awhile longer, then he came and fetched us back.

then went to BBB and chilled there til about 11....... I went to change and meet up with y'all, walked up to the Jungle but never did find you. I checked the place and said well, no way i'm gawn in there by myself. can't rememebr what i did, but never did see ya'll the rest of that night! LOL Angie, I can't believe you didn't notice us not in the van when you went back. Didn't you all have a little more space? We wake up pretty early again to another beautiful day. I don't want to get out of bed and my throat is hurting a tiny bit. My boyfriend soon turns on the TV and starts watching a football (soccer) game. I think it's a little boring, so I read my book a little bit. We hang around for a bit, play some dominoes and then order breakfast. After a conversation with the chef on the phone, my boyfriend gets the jamaican breakfast. He wants me to try it, but it doesn't look so good to me...lol. I try a tiny bite, but I'll stick with my french toast. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] We sit outside on the veranda to eat and enjoy the day. After we're finished we take a walk around the property and just hang out. He is really tired so he wants to take a little nap before he has to go to work. We go back in the room and he goes right to sleep. I'm not a very good napper, but I lay down with him at first. I'm not falling asleep so I go down to the pool and get a little sun and listen to some music. I go back up after a while and he's still sleeping like a baby . I take some pictures of him sleeping because I think he looks cute. I keep an eye on the time and make sure I wake him up at about 2:30 so he can make it to work on time. He doesn't want to get up, but I make him. We sit outside and have a cold drink before he has to leave. The cleaning lady comes and I tell her that we will be leaving soon so can she please come back in 15 minutes. She tells me no problem. I change into a bathing suit and get my beach bag ready while my boyfriend gets ready to go to work. He gives me a kiss and promises that he will be back promptly at 11 tonight. I tell him I'll believe it when I see it give him a kiss and tell him to have a good day at work.

I head out to the beach to find my massage lady. There is one guy who works at Rondel who especially likes me. He sees me coming and comes right up to me. He tells me again that he wishes he could take me away from my boyfriend. I just laugh and keep walking. I find my lady and she's just putting a few braids in this girls hair. She tells me she will soon be finished and I tell her no problem. I end up talking to the girls boyfriend and find out they are from Mexico. Today is both of their birthdays, so they want me to have a drink with them. They are drinking Rum and Pineapple juice and it's pretty good so I have one. She finishes the girls braids and the boyfriend decides he wants a few braids with extensions. She tells me she's sorry for making me wait so long, but I tell her it's really no problem. It's another beautiful day so I just hang out and talk to the people who are around the bar. They are all talking about what they are going to do tonight. A lot of people are going to the Jungle to see Yellowman. They invite me to come join them, but I tell them I will wait for my boyfriend to come back from work. It's finally time for my massage and it's definitely worth the wait. I get about an hour massage and she uses lots of aloe. When it's over I feel very calm and relaxed.

I decide to walk up the beach to see if I can find any of the other boardies. I see a lot of friends on the beach that I've met on previous trips, so I make many stops along the way and chat for a bit with each one of them. I buy a necklace and bracelet from my favorite lady on the beach Jenny. Her little shop is right next to Mr. Slice and I always stop and see her. I find almost all of the lovely ladies from Ja.com hanging out at Bar B Barn having a good time. I sit and chat with them a bit and then walk up to NBCC to see if I can find Classy. I'm looking all around the beach and can't find her. I decide to call her on the phone and then I spot her and Tammy out in the water on their floaties. I put my things down and wade out to meet them. They are talking about what they are going to do for dinner and invite me along. Classy decides she wants to walk down and say hi to the ladies at Bar B Barn, so we walk together. Along the way she invites me to the wake, but I'm not sure what I'm doing yet, so I tell her I'll get back to her. We say hi to everyone, but Marilyn has gone by now. We chat for a bit. Classy and I are hungry and decide we need a little snack. We head over to Bourbon Beach and have some french fries which taste very good I must say. We have fun just hanging out and talking. We go back to Bar B Barn and Sala's there, so we ask did George get in ok this morning. Classy and I are joking that we can't wait to meet George, so Sala tells us he'll take us down to Whistling Bird to meet him right now. We say sure, so off we go to meet the famous George

The pictures are adorable of your friend. I wish that I could take naps also, but I have never been able to, never, no matter how tired. I did pass out one day on the beach after a massage for about an hour, or so says AJ (Marilyns friend). So, what did you do that night....go on...go on.

We get to the Whistling Bird and Sala takes us up to George's cottage. George invites us right on in and offers us a drink. Sala takes a Red Stripe and I take a Smirnoff Ice. Miss S is not there, but we meet her friend Abby who is very pretty and nice. George shows us around the cottage and it's very nice. George is not happy though because he tells us that the TV is not working, his speakers for his lap top are not working and it's loud because it's close the road. I ask what's wrong with the laptop speakers and he says he can't figure it out. We turn on the computer and fool around with a bit. Turns out that George didn't plug the speakers in, so that was the only problem. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img] I find the plug, plug them in and they are all set to go. Meanwhile Classy takes the TV remote and programs all the channels in so the cable's working now too. Now George is much happier with his room thanks to Classy and I [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] . We stay for a while, but Classy and I are still in our bathing suits and it's getting late so we need to get going. We tell George it's very nice to meet him and maybe we'll see him later. Sala takes Classy back but I just walk because Rondel is right next door.

I get back to our room and take a nice long bath. I was feeling very sandy and yuck after all that time on the beach. I'm a little tired so I decide I'm going to have a little nap. I fall asleep for a while and when I wake up it's almost time for my boyfriend to be back from work. He comes right at 11, which surprises me....LOL. Not that he always late, but he's definitely not as punctual as me. He asks me do I want to go out and I tell him it's up to him. I love Negril and I love to go out, but I got out all the time in NYC. I came here to spend time with him, so it really doesn't matter to me if we go out or not. We decide to stay in together and just hang out. We play dominoes and then go for another swim. This time the water temp in the hot tub is just right so we stay a really long time. I try to throw him in the pool, but I'm unsuccessful. We go back up to our room and he hops in the shower first. I'm hungry now as I never ate any dinner since I filled up on fries earlier. I change into dry clothes and walk down to the jungle and buy some chicken and soup. While I'm there the guy charges another person double for the same amount of chicken as me. The guy is drunk, so I guess he doesn't even notice, but I get a good chuckle. I bring them back and we eat together out on the veranda again. We look at the clock and I can't believe it's 2 am already. I take a quick shower to get the chlorine out of my hair and get into my pajama's. We end this day the same way we've ended all the others [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] Another perfect day in paradise........

Jen, I didn't know you are from NY. What part. I spent many summer in Manhantan a few years back working. I really love the city.

Yes, I live in New York. Westchester County to be exact, about 50-60 mins north of Manhattan. I grew up in Oregon, went away to school in Illinois and then lived in Boston for a short bit. I got the job I have now and worked for them in Oregon for almost a year and a half. Then we all moved out here to NY. I had a hard time at first, but now I love it.
