I started wearing a thong years ago, back when I could, because I didn't want the tan lines that a standard suit left. Now I don't lay in the sun anymore but find them more comfortable. As for the men - lol - it does tend to catch more attention than going topless.

A year ago when my son was just under 2, we were staying at Negril Beach Condos when an older woman with VERY obviously 'done' boobs came to sit near us.
She made herself comfortable and then popped her top off with my son watching her intently.
As she does so, he goes 'waaa-oooowwwwwwww'!!

I agree with that, most of the staff work really hard for very little and some reviews i have read on various websites are bad for little things like that!
The woman that cleaned our room EVERY day was so nice, and there was one day she was off and another woman cleaned our room and she didnt leave us any towels so the next day she came to me and appologised and gave us extra towels and told us to hind them incase we werent given any one day! she was so sweet! It was my b.day while i was there and my sister and one of the guys that worked at the hotel got me a huge basket of flowers so left them for her! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

The original inhabitants, or indigenous people, of Jamaica were Arawaks.
It is said most of them died either through overwork they were put through by the Spanish, or succumbed to European diseases that they had built up no resistance to, ie the common cold and flu.
Jamaicans do not consider themselves indigenous, neither are they, so the word wouldn't really be an alternative.
