Excluding these three, because it is a given that they are very good and have excellent reputations, where is your other favorite breakfast place in Negril, and around what time approximately do they start serving?

To make it real clear so there is no misunderstanding, the three establishments named in the topic are non-negotiables when I am in Negril, it's just that with so many days in Negril I wanted to eat some new places as well, so don't anybody run telling folks I said anything negative about their place, because that is not the case.

Hi Marilyn,

You might just be looking for the beach places, but Mary's Bay Boat Bar (right after Negril Yacht Club on the right as you head toward the cliffs) serves a good breakfast at a very pretty location. Ragamuffins in the West End (across from Easy Rock) has a very good fruit bowl. I don't know what time they start serving. The place is very clean and they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. Good customer service as well.

not sure what time they start serving but just natural on the west end is AWESOME and the setting is lovely as well

Choices on West End Rd., near SamSara [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Those "made from scratch" hash browns are the BEST! They open around 7:30 a.m.

Legends has a nice breakfast buffet for around $8 US...Menu varies but here are some of things featured...juices, eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast, pancakes, ackee & saltfish, dumplings, callaloo, cold cereal, assorted fruit, muffins & toast...opens at 7:30 a.m.

A good Jamaican breakfast is at Fatty's on the road side, across the street from Coco La Palm. Reasonable prices, large portions, and excellent food

Yes, Ragamuffins serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and have quite an extensive dinner menu from veggie lasagna to grilled lobsters (which was excellent, yes I had to compare to 3Dives and splurged on two lobster dinners last trip) great salads too!

By the way, is the way you spelled my name ( GOldi a subliminal suggestion that I should GO again?

Fatty's is across the street from Negril Beach CLub Condos on the left hand side of Norman Manley, heading towards the roundabout. Good food. Locals eat there so you know its good. Nothing fancy but the prices are right.

And its quick!

Nobody mentioned Sweet n Spicey restaurant...it's downtown & very good with very reasonable prices. It was mostly locals patrons & with friendly staff who recommended Jamaican food choices that we loved. We left there stuffed & will definitely stop by there this week while I'm in Negril. My mouth is watering for some finger lickin good Jerk Chicken. I can't get enough when I'm in JA !!!

Add another vote for Choices across from Samsara- delicious food, excellent coffee. KILLER pumpkin soup (Ok, OK, that's not breakfast, so sue me). They have tradtional JA breakfast and also eggs, toast, etc. i love the vibe too, real mellow....

Also Perseverence, um, lessee, it's kinda up a bit from BBB towards town, on the other side of the street. Whole fish, calalloo, dumplins, fruit, veg - YUM. and also excellent coffee....

can't tell you what time either starts serving though.
