Swedish, I think Moonsan is perfect for a solo traveler. Yes they do rent out individual rooms (4) or they can rent the entire villa but I don't think that happens very often. The rooms are good size, and all have windows facing the Blue Lagoon. The bedroom on the lower level is a little larger with a larger bathroom, with a window seat, big enough and comfortable enough for someone to sleep on. The location is pretty far from town, but a route taxi will only cost $50J. I've stayed at other places but I like this one because it's right on the water and that's hard to find in Port Antonio. I have pictures of that bedroom I'll post when I get home tonight.

Yikes - I was able to pull up a web page earlier this week for Moon San Villa ..... $$$ way out of my budget range. It is so very beautiful though.

Quite honestly - I am happy as a clam staying at my Guy's home just as it is today. I show photo's to my co-workers and friends, and they can not BELIEVE how I have changed with what I find acceptable today. My girlfriend and I were once known as 'Foo Foo and Shee Shee Glimmertwin', as you can imagine - everything had be posh, posh. Thank God I let go of that attitude! Now - just get me to Jamaica and all I really need is a hose to keep clean.

Anyhoo - just thought I would chime in with how much I am enjoying your posts .....

Laurel you know you never go with the price on websites, a phone call can usually get a much better price. I only paid $100 per night at Moonsan and got breakfast too. I wouldn't consider that high end at all, and I think Moonsan is just normal, not foo foo really. But sounds like you got a great spot already! See ... it is a good thing I do not handle the money when I get to Jamaica.

Thanks SL - it's that oily Italian skin that is serving me well now! (seemed like it was a curse in my teens and twenties!)
