this is one place i always say I will go to when in the Negril area.. but then when the time comes i have this fear there will be too many tourists so i change my mind...... I tend to prefer more remote places .....


However... the river looks inviting.. and so many folks on this board have seem to enjoy it .. so I will give it ago one of these days

what a wonderful job you are doing...this place looks so very peaceful...maybe i can get up there this next time in november...is the water okay for a 7 year old? i have mayfield so etched in my mind....i don't want a similar experience especially with a child in tow

Yes, peace is the word.....

I would recommend water shoes, and in the places where the water runs through the rocks (both into and out of the main pool) the current is strong enough that you do need to be mindful of it. It's a beautiful spot to cool out. If your seven year old is into nature, they will be fascinated.

Thought you would be interested. Rasta had to put a notice out on another board that he does NOT have someone going up and down the 7 mile beach soliciting funds or tours to his place. Evidently some people are using his name up and down the beach to get money out of people. He gave public notice that he does not have any representatives working for him and that this is a scam.

Wow, people will take advantage of everything! I had not seen any posts from him on the other board lately (although I think his wife does them) wondered what was up.

I would love to see the place remain unspoiled but I just had to share some of the pix.
