said our farewells and we were off to Fern Hill Club...which is just down the road...but up a biggggg hill.

Enjoyed our time at Search Me Heart...but I have learned i'm not the guesthouse type...oh it's fine for a couple nights...but for five...not for me. I get up early early in the morning...and I felt a little stifled here...trying to keep quiet while everyone slept. I'm looking forward to more space...and dare i say the sound of a tv...and the ability to do what I want whenever i want...hehehe. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] Left Search Me Heart with many good memories and momentos.

Now Fern Hill....what a beautiful place...stunning views, lots of space, paths going off everywhere...and two pools...that i never saw anybody in. Very very nice up here. The plan is to relax fully up on this hill.



I am now going to bore you with pics around the property.

loops did you have to walk all those stairs.. to get to your room?

I agree about the guesthouse... i like it for a night two or three.. no more.. i prefer more space.. and privacy...

not all the stairs nina...just the first set. It was no more steps than at the Hibiscus really. The other set of stairs you see...goes up to the pool higher up...one pool way below the restaurant, one pool up higher than the rooms...and I mispoke earlier...another pool (#3), that goes with the villas waaaaaaaay up on the hill behind us. The property was great for wandering around.

How about a view from the restaurant? Just stunning. The food was ok...kinda bland...and waaaaaay overpriced....but the view made up for it. You can see San San below...quite the vista.






way off in the distance...is the beach we were shelling on earlier in the day.

Loopsie - Hope he did not have to stay in the dog pound for long! Sounds like me on my first visit to Negril with the XXX - I was in my consistant Jamaica Groove and it was his first time to Jamaica and WAS NOT feeling it - I often went for a romantic dinner on the beach ... alone - not knowing the true love I would eventually find, had himself just recently moved to Negril and was only just down the road from me.

Your photos are REALLY awesome!! Especially the ones up in the hills .... and love the sea debris!! I am going to have to bring a pile of that home for myself!! Fern Hill looks just lovely!

Nina - does San San Tropez have "private" cottages / rooms? or are they guest house like, sort of 'on top of each other'?? ( am I going to have to supply ear plugs for the rest of the guests??) [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

san san tropez has rooms/cottage like not on top of each other. very diff from cultures..

i think youd be fine there... its up a hill across from san san beach... nice restaurant.. no view.. but peaceful garden like setting...

hey (((Sweetlips)))....ooooooooooo lucky you 6 days and counting! I'm envious.

I think a week in Tb and a week in Port Antonio would be as close to heaven as you can get...take me with youuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!! I can only imagine how much fun it would be to drive to and fro...I love to ride around.

We did not explore the coffee plantation or the factory...just took a few pics and talked with the fella at the gate...he offered a tour, but we wanted to be on our merry way. As far as how long it takes from Search Me Heart...there's lot of different ways one can go...so it would depend. I'm not the person to ask that question....I never knew what time it was the entire time i was there...and i never wear a watch. Nina can probably give you a good idea of traveling times around that end though.
