....On the ride back from Nine Mile I feel well enough to try a Stripe. Ok that one stayed down, let me try another one. This feels a little better.

Angie decided to skip her Rasta massage at Fire Water or whatever it is, I guess my mood has just tainted the day...but hey guys, I'm trying really. Of course, by the time we reach Ochii I am all better having put a damper on everyones' day. It's not my nature or my choice to be this way, and I'm going to do something about it, but sorry girls that I was sad on Nine Mile Day.

I ask the girls...."Did you tell Bob Marilyn said hi?"

Friday night is Jus Cheers.

We all end up there, but the girls sort of go to the young folks corner and Vi and I stay in the old folks corner. The selector is doing me proud and the vibe is off the chain. I am getting a chance to show the girls a real Jamaican night out and not some all inclusive club thing or tourist trap.

I hit pay dirt immediately and get THE BEST dance partner a girl could ask for. Oh did we dance. Salsa, steppin, swing, wine, the whole gamut. Vi is just a swaying and doing her thing and having a great night.

We are trying to hard to make it until the end of the night when the guy dancers do this thing that I call sweeping the dance floor to signal the end of the evening, but I can't make it.

My energetic partner has worn me out, GF has danced all night as well, which is good for her because she is usually the one to go home quickly.

I try to leave Vi there, but she ends up going home with us. She always wants to stay later, and I don't have a problem with that, but somehow we usually end up leaving together.

Over the course of the night people make their way home one at a time, and I could not have been prouder of Jus Cheers that night.

Marilyn - You mentioned an arrival bar that is new to the airport in Montego Bay. I'm assuming this is the new Margaritaville Arrivals Bar - where exactly is it located? This is going to be the perfect meeting spot for my bday trip in February.

Yes mam that it is, and you are right it is PERFECT. You can say walk out the airport make a right and meet us at the bar, plus it gives you a pleasant place to wait on your party. I say GO JAMAICA!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect! I'm trying to get my bearings straight....making a right out of the airport is after you come out of immigration and head to where you have private pick ups -- going to the right is where that corner shop is? Or is it right towards the departure gate? I have to give my sister exact directions so sorry for being so precise.

On the flip side, isn't it strange how "in-tune" people can be with a troubled spirit when theirs is so "in-tune"? I have heard you, Orbra, Angie and have read others comment about how someone (usually a man) reaches into your soul and pulls out the ugly piece that flew over with you on the plane -- even if you didn't know it was with you on the flight. It is truly amazing how someone can touch the right button that will allow the flood gates to flow open and empty out all the water buildup (tears). Sometimes you just need a good cry to cleanse the soul -- doesn't necessarily tie into one particular thing, but it sure does remove a lot of build up.
