Thursday, 9/30.

Clock alarm went off about 6am. My body said “nope, we ain’t getting up”. I woke about 7:30am for good. Still no cable. Well let’s see what this day shall brings. I am ecstatic about my beach front room.

Ate breakfast. Vegetated on the beach for a couple of hours. It started raining. After the rain stopped, I walked to Coral Seas for internet services. Checked messages and got rained on the way back to NBCC.

A friend from Ochi came to visit. Michelle and I went to Ms. Sonia. Ms. Sonia is a wonderful person that you must meet in Negril. She is a very spiritual and wise person. While talking to her, you can feel her spiritual wisdom and knowledge. I forgot to add that Ms. Sonia thanked Michelle and I for coming back to Jamaica. That made me feel really good. She is very appreciative. I ordered two of her chicken patties. They are the greatest. It is worth the wait because she makes her patties from scratch. Ms. Sonia thanked me for coming back to Jamaica. That made me feel good. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Well, it is now my second night with no cable. I am writing this on the balcony. The sun has gone down. The citronella candle is lit for the pesky mosquitoes. Enjoying the music from the NBCC restaurant. It has been a good day.

Friday, Oct. 1

Very quiet day. Checked email. Vegetated on the beach. Michelle and I walked to Time Square. I went to Fattie’s for dinner.



Met Iriesis and hubby. They are here until Tuesday.

Chilled out for the rest of the evening. Another great day and evening in Negril.

Ros, you seem to really know the meaning of the word 'relax'. I'll get to that point one day. The point when I can go to JA and just sit on the beach and think, go around and say hi to some folks, just chill. But now, I feel like everything is so new, and when I go, I just want to fit everything in at once.

they just tend to delete things with a quickness over there...deleted something ros said....and we all know ros is a nun/saint....if they would use the delete key on her...no one is safe...

I am just catching up with you. Your pictures are lovely. I agree 100% about Miss SOnia, she is a Negril treasure. I find her almost......Ochii like.

A lunch with her and long talk with her is one of our days on the next tour and I so look forward to it.

Vi, if you read this, I can take my crocheted top that you love so much, and Miss Sonia can quote you a price for duplicating it. SHe can crochet anything.

Ohhhhhhhhh I see. The best sunrises though Ros are over in the Ochii end. Libby had some real spectacular ones too. YOUR Negril is better for sunsets.

Still I got some pretty shots of the glow of it coming up. NOw over that great Morrass those are some really pretty sunset shots in Negril area.
