There were also a lot of little bars and shops on the beach, ‘The Friendly Bartender’ was the most interesting looking one – I thought.
I believe this bar was redone after Hurricane Ivan and changed a bit. I sat on that very bench during my trip in November to the tunes of Jah Cure. I LOVE that bar. [/qb]
Hey, that used to be Barosa's We (too) have spent many "ahhh" evening watching the sun go down (to the beating drum) & enjoying our Stripes.
This is a fabulous trip report. The pictures are stunning. (what kind of camera do you use?)
I can't believe you didn't have any I Scream. How did you manage that?

The pictures were actually not as good as I'd have liked (for example, I much prefer Q.K's pic of the little house sitting on the sea in Bluefields). Anyway, I used a Canon EOS Rebel SLR that I'm still learning to use.
I blame my lack of I Scream on my wife. She managed to convince me that it would be too messy to drive and eat my ice cream at the same time. Why oh why did I listen????
for next time - there is a I Scream in Negril at Time Square - you should know you can always get whatever you want in Jamaica - just ask and pay
WOW! My dream of staying at Strawberry Hill someday was realized by you and thank you for sharing it with the rest of us! The pictures are so great! MORE?
