No Linda, don't go! Q, I met Cudge, Anette and Paula two years ago while staying at Coconuts. I also met Dwayne and Damion on the same trip, and have heard all about the others on the phone, and through mutual friends. You can see it is a special place, nuh?

Thanks Rootsie...the women in my family come from hearty stock....a little island off Ireland, harsh like JA....rocky, too....maybe that is why I am drawn to it?

I have heard in the past how close the Irish are to Jamaica in terms of their demeanor and dialect.
As for potatoes, if you go to market, Jamaican people ask for `Irish` when shopping for potatoes.
"How much a pound for your Irish?"
"Sell mi 2 lbs of yu Irish."
Only in Jamaica does the word `Irish` so s
moothly is uttered.

I wonder if they would use the washer. Many country people have the perception that machine washed clothes are not as clean as hand washed. The machine cannot give the attention to dirt detail as a human. (like the gentleman in the picture)
