Do you remember when I spoke of how Jamaican children always look so nice and neat? All the children I saw playing in either beautiful Easter wear or crisp school uniforms. They are always so mindful of their appearance. I don't care how much scolding or disciplining I did, my kids wouldn't stay nice and neat. This vest on J. is just an example. I had to get laundry done, on account of our extended stay and the stuff was covered in the red, clay dirt that is soooo TB. Sarah, at Sunset, assured me that they were used to getting the red dirt out of clothes. My kids are particularly messy and disheveled.
yes, I felt like pinching them this morning. although not because they are cute. Their bickering makes me crazy. Funny there was no bickering on our trip.
I just read your report and lovin it! I really cnt imagine bein tht brave and takin my 6yr olds anywhere alone but...good job Mom!!
We walked back after our trip with Bernard slowly along Frenchmans beach. I was in no rush knowing we would not be back for a while.
Check out was noon. Sunset was wonderful as usual and had let me get my stuff together and check out late so we could go on the boat. No one was staying in our room that night (at least at that point). I was able to come back and shower and clean up.
Junior showed up right on time at 2:30 pm and with tears for the London family (they were staying another week) and the staff at Sunset we were on our way back across the hills to Tryall Club. I have stayed in a villa there many times over the past few years and was going to finish out our stay there.
Junior and I laughed and said we hoped that we didn't have any more "mongoose trouble" on the way back. Well the trip to come ended up being an adventure in itself. The journey and stay at Tryall soon come.
