Thanks Marilyn!!!!!! I so appreciate your words and no Napi it isn't over...I'm in the midst of finals and thankfully, prayerfully my hair hasn't fallen out yet....school is offically over on Wednesday and finishing this report will be my HIGHEST priority--other than catching up on sleep!!!!!!!!!
I can't concentrate enough to write and reflect, but later I'll post some pics from the Carribean carnival in DC that I was able to sneak away to for 2 hours this past weekend

Sorry-no mas trip report but here is a quick report of my Saturday and hopefully enough to tide you over until I can get my mind to stop running at 100 miles per min.

Saturday-Woke up at 7:50. Me and Litle Miss are taking swim classes. We rush over to class. Little Miss had a mishap and walks into a glass wall-luckily no blood was spilled. We stay in the water for an hour and head back home to change. We get in the house and I veg for about 20 minutes. Get us both changed because we are going to DC Carribean Carnival. Leave going toward Howard University and luckily I find a good parking space. I pull out my stroller and buckle the Mess in and we head over to Georgia Ave. It was 100 degrees outside and the carnival hadn't come down the street yet. We brought icees and the shop we stopped at happend to be owned by the father of a girl I went to grad school with. I find a space under the tree for little miss and gab with the people surrounding us. The parade starts and its great, but the Mess isn't feeling the heat. I see a girl from grade school and highschool in the parade. We leave after 2 hours and run to two store. The Mess has a b-day party and I have a bridal shower(see even my weekends are a mess) I drop her off at the party, then go home to fix a quiche for the party. Get the quiche ready, pick up the seafood salad that my mom made and head out to Laurel. I didn't get home until Midnight.
