These were taken 2 months ago over X-mas...It was our first trip to Jamaica. We basically didn't want to spend much, and were originally going to visit L.B.'s brother somewhere in the jungle in Belize...I had some reward points that needed to be used, etc. Ten days before we were planning on leaving, we decided to do something different that would take us away from family altogether...something new, adventurous, and exciting, to escape the "grey" feeling imposed by the weather here near Seattle. So I picked Jam. cuz it was the largest Island, and then did some research. It was during that time that Jamaica hit #1 on the murder per capita charts...so I decided to avoid Kingston....lol...I guess the pictures can tell some of the rest of the story...I'll answer any questions anyone cares to ask... ...it starts here in the airport...
...then on to the beach at Negril...stayed at "Ansels"...
...amenities: a bed, mini-fridge, 2 light bulbs, and a pipe with water to a toilet and shower....

after 2 days in Negril we headed out toward Roaring River...how we got there is a story in itself...
...Two minutes before the following pic was taken I was wondering why Steve put his helmit on... [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img] We met him in a gas station...we assured the officer we weren't going up to hills to be murdered...or something...

...so I think I'll post this now before I lose it all...My computer sucks...and add more in a bit...
