Boundie and Red I've been reading your report out loud to my hubby and we are giggling and also completely with Red on moving on. I am one of those who really need A/C and so is my hubby. He is a engineer and his specialty is A/C and he would be telling the peeps at the bird just how he would cool their place in major detail. They wouldn't understand a word he said I bet. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img] I must say that Whistling Bird was a fantastic place for breakfast and the laid back friendly and islandy decor is perfect. Heck their beach with all the palm trees is just heavenly. Just not for overnight. So...which direction did you walk? We stayed at Rondel Village and they have ice cold A/c and we stayed a few doors down at Charela Inn and loved everything about the place. Cable, A/c, room service etc.
Ok.... you have a lot of us anticipating your next move.

but u know somthing, i'm nowhere near an architect and i'm the same dyam way, just from workin in construction. can't stand it when some smaddy got paid dyam good money & then doesn't pay attention, & does such a lazyazz crappy job that the end-user can't use de ting for the purpose for which is supposedly designed, specially if the end-user is me and de ting all fackup. Ctry- You know me, I am quite experienced at walking sideways, backwards, crooked, and on all fours. The floor could have been sloped straight up and down and I’d have been alright. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Kalista- I agree the bird has a great beach, wonderful food, and a great vibe. The bartender there was so nice, she saw me scratching a mosquito bite and promptly offered me rum and lime to soothe it. I am not sure if it was for the bug bite or my belly, but either way it would have been soothing. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70409-waytogo.gif[/img] We actually walked right by the Charela Inn when we were looking for our next hotel. I will have to remember that one for next time, if there is a next time!

3 pounds, a.k.a 3 Lb- I am glad you are enjoying the report. sistacaf- You and Red could spend hours talking I bet. He is always picking apart poorly designed things and saying what he would do to make them better. I am like, well it is functional, and I am not having any problem with it, so as far as I am concerned it is just fine! Then Red points out all of the small details that I am missing.

That is precisely what Red kept saying. “Why should I stay here and be unhappy when I can just move up the road somewhere?”

OcheeHeart- Gyal whe di rastaboogey yuh been? Laaaaang time mi nuh see yuh! Yes, there was steam coming out of Red’s ears. I was struggling to keep up with him. I was wearing flip flops and gripping them so hard with my toes so I could half run/walk behind him.
