it is faster to put the person in a cab than wait for the ambulance. there was no ambulance for a long time. some of the ones that are there are there because people chip in and rent them.

there was no fire truck for a good many years.

OMG!! What can someone do that stays 6 months besides hop a plane to Miami. But if you are not ambulatory, you're sunk. Hope Ted knows how to nurse me in case of emergency. Shoot if he had to drive me to a hospital, we'd never make it. Two times that I let him drive my car he did damage to it. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70367-help.gif[/img]
