Our Routine

Since our first Jamaica trip together in July 06, we’ve made a point to eat at 3-dives at least once on our trip. The rotation is, once at the start of the trip and usually our last night dinner is celebrated (if you call trying to take your mind off leaving, celebrating) at 3-dives. This time we made it there just once [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif[/img].

We were the only customers there upon arrival. Llyodie (sp) and Paula weren’t there that day.
Orders placed, we headed down near the water to talk and take pictures.

The food

We all ordered lobster. Being there April 16, they still had it available [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img]. And as everyone has mentioned, the price did go, up but it was still less expensive and a better portion than the $137 [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif[/img], 2 1/2 person lobster meal with a 2 drinks and soup, we (2 people) ate at Cosmos in November. That was one nasty pill to swallow [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/sick.gif[/img].

No pics of the lobster this time. I forgot to snap pictures before it was gone. The size of the lobsters were smaller than I’ve had on previous trips, but we were glad to have it [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img].

Sauce on the side

The last time I was at Bourbon Beach, I didn’t get to see the stage real good. This time, I got to see the band performing up close [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/dance01.gif[/img].

I was determined to try some of the jerk chicken and fries this trip [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/hungry.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/hungry.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img]. I heard it was some of the best in Negril. I saw a friend at the counter, so I walked up, placed my order and started chatting with him about the sauce. When our orders are ready and we were asked if we wanted sauce, I was thinking, I’ll try most things once. Well after I saw my friends expression when he emphatically responded “NO” I punked out and said, “just a little on the side” I made a good decision on that. That sauce was no joke

After a long day, we called it quits, I was headed to Nine Mile in the morning, early in the morning.

I couldn’t convince the ladies to do a tour with me this time. All too well imprinted in their brain is the July experience of waking up after one hour of sleep after coming in from the Jungle [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/breakdance.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img] to do the Black River/YS/Appleton Tour . At the mention of getting up early to go to Nine Mile, they all said they really would like to, BUT. I knew what the but was....July. I understood and didn’t push it [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img].

I figured if I was sleepy I’d sleep on the way [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-sleeping.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-sleeping.gif[/img].

Waking up in the wrong bed

I gained a roommate last night [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif[/img]. Choclit couldn’t find her key so she roomed with me. I was very careful not to wake her when my alarm went off at 6am [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-sleeping.gif[/img]. I know that I wouldn’t immediately roll out of bed so I needed some time to come to life.

I got dressed and went outside at 7:30am to meet the group. I wanted to sleep, but with camera in hand, that would not be an easy task.
