You don’t have to be a famous photographer to take great pictures.
You don’t have to have a great camera to take good photographs.
If you have a good and kind heart then the lens will capture the image. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blushing2.gif[/img]

Jamaica is like this.
Simple and truthful.
No need to put on any airs.
What you see is what you get. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif[/img]
Show respect and you get it back tenfold.

I think that these words described it in the best and most effective way.

This area really made me feel good because this felt like what Jamaica must be.
When I think of whatever Jamaica is, I think it must be this.

I often felt while I was in the hotel, that this is not Jamaica. And it isn’t.
Jamaica is out in the streets at the fruit stalls.
Jamaica is down by the beach where you can buy some fresh fish.

Jamaica is leaving the disco club at 2 in the morning and getting
the best chicken that I have ever tasted off of home made grills.
Jamaica is not on the resort.

The best part of the "real" Jamaica is all around you,
whether you are in the hotel or not. It’s the people.

Next time you go, talk to your bartender, not as an employee,
but as a potential friend.
Or your waitress, room attendant, security guard, staff taxi driver or groundskeeper.

Whoever seems interested to talk to you, or that you want to know better.
Find someone you like and who likes you, just like you would at home.

Once they see you are really seeing them and not just as somebody that brings you some
ice water or changes your sheets, they will invite you into their lives, wholeheartedly and forever.
