somebody born in JA pls to come and tell me if i'm wrong - but it seems to me the people of Jamaica are well informed &amp; fully knowledgable bout the monarchy; from history to current. They knew enough about it to gain their independence from the colonialist downpressor, supercilious, 'make the world british', empire <span style="font-style: italic">over 40 years ago.</span>

im not talking about the empire! also im saying its the media that cheats on you, as in a earlier post i said... there is no news like bad news, meaning the media simply dont post the possitives of the monarchy --- only the bad things. this has 100% nothing to do with empire or colonialit rule, this is purely about monarchy, 100% unrelated to it

If you want to discuss the relative merits of different kinds of government structures: i.e. 'monarchy' vs. 'democracy' - OK.

but that's an entirely different conversation then the one you're on about, how great 'the Queen' is, you'll defend her til you die and rayray.

sort yourself out on what topic you're discussing, and you'll get more serious debate.
