How about instead of arguing about the causes of the past for the problems of the present we initiate change? If you are living in Jamaica then you have a intimate point of view of how things are where you live and what the problems are and how they need to be addressed, if you live abroad then you have a good 3rd person perspective on what to do about the problem, we can all agree that economy and poverty is a big problem. So what do WE do about that? sending remittance is a bit of help but not much, it's about investment into an infrastructure that NEEDS to be overhauled. we know that money talks that is the universal language, so if you have the money to initiate change, then invest in Jamaica and build it up.

Bolt's success lead to the world admiring Jamaicans it's a great opportunity to open up JA and fix what's wrong with it. Stop crying about being a victim of 30-40 years of corruption, and do something to stamp it out. it will take work, it will be hard but if we all start somewhere, no matter how small we can plant the seeds that will bloom into that change we want for Jamaica.

You LOVE Jamaica then stop arguing about your own point of view all that does is stroke your own personal ego, it does nothing for the people of Jamaica. We may have different ideas of why things are the way they are but we know that they ARE the way they are. so put aside your personal issues and philosophies and do SOMETHING to make a change. invest in a lower class school, buy them some books, something that will make things better.

I hope you are addressing this to everyone because this exactly what I advocating, especially when the past that the well-known.... well worn suspects want to shout from a roof top is lies, misconception and bizarre conspiracy theories of their obviously disease minds.

One does accept that as Marcus said to know where you are going it is helpful to know where you are coming from. Knowing where you are coming from does not mean giving fools Carte Blanc to posit untruths then build upon same rather it is the exact 180 degrees of that concept.
