Didn't say that but what I will say is this:
Bribes
Robbing people
Putting guns and charges on Jamaican Citizens is neither good for the cops, good for a fellow human being or Jamaica as whole.
You can be very tough, dirty (as in Harry stretching the limits of strictly legal), bad [censored] without resorting to certain lowdown destructive tactics

Obviously you did you are still here, but usually stuff like this end up really bad for the victim. I have seen it myself.

But not to take it lightly.....a similar thing almost happen to I when I was a cop <span style="font-style: italic">(other than when a soldier from a police patrol shot at I from behind....next story)</span>
First time I went to Montego Bay. I was on observation looking at the some runnins. So we got there late in the evening and we went straight to the hotel. By time I unpacked and got some food going ot was late, but being a in a so-called Tourist Town I took a walk.

If I told you were I walked to now i would be lying but it wasn't 100 yards from where we were staying I got stopped. by two cops, suddenly a jeep pulled up and every except the driver jumped out.
All I heard bwoy a whh yu a do yah?
We know aeh a Kingston yu come from wah kine ah mission yu dung yah pon, yu a noh tourist wheh yu a do inna tourist area?

I managed to stammer out that I was a cop, then bawled out my number, even as they tried to say I was impersonating police. Anyway it all ended well I gave them some names of cops that I knew from Mobay, I had trained with and they believed.

Lol !...man you were lucky,in my days most of the bad cops in mobay were guys from harmon barracks looking a name for themselves,...we used to call them &quot;harman bruckup&quot; as soon as they back yu up dem start drape you up and fling bax on you....it was one of them that took my bicycle off me,I spent quite a few dollars fixing it up and spraying it,..he took it off me for no reason and dashed it in the back of the van,and tell mi fi walk.

I think most of us should have some pretty funny stories about cops,some not so funny though,....I think some of those guys act tough for no other reason than to gain a reputation,......being an ex cop you may have heard of ,or met &quot;karate george&quot;....he made quite a rep for himself in the force,...this was a guy I used to hustle with on the streets of mobay as a youth.

Havent really heard about the geezer for years,didnt know about his troubles.......but I can find out,I have a couple peeps in the force,....it`s really funny,I used to know a lady here who I got on really close with as she ran a little business in the community,one day we got talking, and it transpired that she was a very close relative of one of the so-called bad cops in killsome,this guy is a household name,...a music promoter no less,(if you know what I mean)

Yes Karate George did get in trouble I will look it up.
If it Laing by any chance I used to go with his Niece. She was a higgler in Spanish Town.
