Maybe you can bring those stats forward and we can see the relative increase if any since 1979-2006.

I think that's why you have brits there now instead of back then. The case has become a crisis. Out of hand and needs outside resources. Could anyone even fathom Scottlandyard being hired to help solve our crime issue back then?

Jamaica is much worse than back then, and it was a much safer and healthier environment for everyone in the 70s.

Before Seaga's desperate charge in the 79-80 election year political violence and widespread crime was not as prevalent.

The first time the violence claimed 500 lives in Jamaica was in the 70s. This continued till 1980 when 800 was killed the violence again tapered off till this present current iteration of the PNP in Government. This is statistics that can easily be obtained, in fact I have published the numbers before and I will certainly try to find them again, since certain insects will want to spin and lie their way into oblivion

In fact every time since the 70s that the PNP has been in power there has been a marked rise in global violence and human rights abuses.

Of course it is not only on BBs and Verandahs, almost any so-called historical programs on violence/politics/economics that is broadcasted in the print and electronic media it always come back to the Eddie Factor.

Worse the most senior persons in the ranks of the Governing PNP continually fan the flames. The Minister of Finance in his closing speech at Gordon House mentioned (or spun), three different aspects of the Eddie Factor.

Time to put Eddie's name to rest, they cannot prove anything against the man other than he is white, never born a yaad and his company failed to pay GTC. History will show that he was duly punished in all three instances.
