The people of Jamaica are not foolish thats why he could never lead the party to victory. Yes we can blame Pj and talk about people easy to fool "black man time now" etc, but several elections the people said no to eddie, why is that. He and every politican who have been around for the past 30 years (man thats a long time) have blood on their hands. yes give him his due but nobody should get a pass not JLP or PNP for 1600+ murders in a year and 800+ during 1980 election year.

1)1968 election with Dudley thompson, first ever incident of gun used in a general election in West kingston, now my Grandfada was JCF at the time in Kingston and verified that reports are that it was people in JLP who did the shooting
2)The breaking in of PNP HQ by JLP supporters to get the one thing that had captured the peoples imagination. Manley rod of correction recieved from selassie I ETA - and Seaga claimed to have found.
3)The infighting and light a candle sing a sanky comment and the reason for Golding leaving the JLP
And this is just off the top of mi head, how him and Manley changed the face of politics a yard forever, and not for the better.
4)And the funniest one, Seage biting of a woman at a polling station around 1986, as reproted in the newspaper, well it was x-news but this behavior was not shocking
5)Don Skeng libel suit of Seaga for making remarks on tv and radio.

It was the actually the PNP side that fired on the JLP, but it is not like this was the start of killings in the name of politics in Jamaica. Way back in the 1950s I think there was a Peace Treaty signed between the Busta and Menlie-The-Elder, this Peace Treaty was broken when a supporter of the JLP was killed at Golden Spring.
And Haile Selassie I did not give Menlie-The-Younger a rod it was another African Leader.

Where is you proof PNP fired first, I can pull articles that contradict that statement.

Manley 'claimed' it was a gift from Selassie I, you going to deny that also, and did Seaga not claim he had the stick for a short while causing an uproar in Jamaica, I cant deal with people who dont know history.

What about the Seaga asking Norman Manley leader of the opposition to leave the Royal Box during the return of Garvey body to Jamaica, that is not bhutuism and disrespect, Busta had to wild him up and Manley stayed, or when he got booed in stadium he talked bout blood for blood and fire for fire, but conveniently left off the rest of Bogle speech which was skin for skin and color for color. come again Tuff

Or writing to the IMF in 1978 telling them to withold money from Jamaica because manley was in power, this man writing to stop money to a country because he want to show up his competitor, how wicked and uncaring for the Jamaican people can you be. No DR, I was stating Eddie also did some Bhutusim stuff during Gilbert such as taking the American camera crews to standpipes in his garrisons to watch ratchet fights all in an effort to get more money. Regarding Manley, I was telling Tuff I can also provide him of PNP bhutuism and bruttish behavior , mi no play favorites both of them have blood pon dem hands.
