Foreign immigration cancel visas of former CMU members

Reports are now surfacing that immigration officials in Canada and the United States have cancelled the visas of members of the former Crime Management Unit.

Former members of the Unit said they have been refused entry into Canada and the United States since being acquitted of the Crawle murders.

The members said the list includes the wife of a former member of the CMU.

CMU members’ visas cancelled

Former members of the Crime Management Unit are hopping mad having learnt that their visitors’ visas to at least two countries have been cancelled.
The former CMU members, who were charged in connection with the fatal shooting of four persons in Crawle Clarendon, said immigration officials in Canada and the United States have cancelled their visas.

According to the policemen, who were reinstated into the force after being freed by the courts, they have been refused entry into the two countries.

One of the policemen actually flew into the United States last week and was turned back by US immigration who informed him that his visa had been cancelled.

The Canadian visa of the wife of Senior Superintendent Reneto Adams was also revoked by the Canadian authorities. She is appealing that decision.

On principle, I tend to agree that Jamaica should determine it's own affairs, but in this instance I am truly sickened by the outcome...

think bout what I type again. And from what I saw Seaga pull up in a jeep wave him hand and the crowd quiet down and then drive off, how much days was dead bodies in the street again and women and children stood as human shield and had gun men shooting between them arms and legs at police.....despite what he was accussed off I would never wish death on the man..that a go too far.
