Patterson, who was named a lifetime officer of the party at the conference, reminded the crowd of his decision to remain in Jamaica after his retirement, but declared that he did not wish to live under any government "other than one of the People's National Party".
Well, when he was younger he lived under JLP goverment. I am wondering why he won't at this stage. He should be having a better life now, with all his years of service to the public and private law practice. I haven't heard of any dis-repect to him since he has retired. I can't figure this one out! Was it a slip of the tongue, or a mis-qoute by the press?
