- can't catch them: not enough police cars, equipment etc
- can't try them: courts to backed up
- can't convict them: too much bribery, etc

you are angry.
The answer is with paper. Write down what you think the law should be on a paper. Below have lines for people to sign their names.
Leave this paper at stores and gas stations, and restruants where the people can see it. If they agree they sign their name, if they do not, then they do not sign their name.
In two weeks collect up all the papers. Send a copy to the politicians and a copy to the newspapers.
Politicians want to be rich and powerfull, for both they must be popular.
If many people want the same thing, to be popular, the politicians will do it.

<span style='font-size: 11pt'>Dear Q32, I am sorry to hear about that killing.There are hardly any Jamaican who don't have a relatives of friends who has died violently in Jamaica. What is needed is extreme force to suppress first Corruption and second Armed Criminals!In that order.

The corruption has paralysed the masses to the extent that they don't know how to organise themselves to protest and demand that the parliament take action.

I wrote a letter to the OBSERVER recently briefly outlining my view.

Life is so cheap in Jamaica that it carries no value now,and some people are conditioned to accept the killings and murders as just part of Jamaican life,....it`s terrible.

Jamaicans need to unite around a common ground,politics creates division,...and as for Religion,..its absolutely bloody useless as a force for moral authority.

Jamaicans need to start feeling good about themselves again,they need to see a light at the end of the tunnel,they need to know that the spiral of violence and mayhem shouldnt just be a part of the culture,each generation that is coming up now seems to be getting more brutal than the previous one,..and no one seems to be saying enough is enough.

You have to be absolutely sure that the convicted murderer is without doubt the actual murderer before you hang anyone.
The state of our courts leaves a lot to be desired and to summarily execute a suspect can send the wrong message to the actual felon who wasn`t executed.

Thank you all for your kind words. Glenroy was only 41 yo and not 51 as reported in the media. He was a gentle soul never known to have any major conflict with anyone. He lived by humble means, yet was well enough off in his mind not to wish bad on others. No one has had a bad thing to say about him, all with the bad mindedness going on around him in that volatile community.

Oh such heartfelt sentiments for a lost Jamaican, who most would never have known if he was alive, but in death has rallied voices in unision as to the wasted way he has departed.
If he could read these posts and maybe he can from his now recent acquired vantage point, would be deeply touched.

4 people were killed in Vermont last year. So obviously I don't know much less understand all the killing Jamaica.
Also Jamaican is fairly close to english so I understand most of what is said, but not all.
