8GB - $169

16GB - $219

120GB - $249

That's on the Apple site.

The prices at Best Buy are actually $20 cheaper on each price point, so I will go there on the weekend to pick one up.

the 16 holds up to 2000 songs nuh true ?

but i only see the 120 in 2 colors

I haven't seen the colorful ones in the classic just the new nanos.



I purchased the black one, my favorite colors are black and purple. I just decided to treat myself and black was all they had.

the 8GB holds 2000 songs and the 16GB holds 4000 songs.

That is the only drawback of the 120GB is the limited colour choices

I really want a brightly coloured one but it seems to make more sense to get the 120GB at Best Buy for the same price as the 16GB from the Appple Web Site.

Since mi did get my &quot;smartphone&quot; I use it to... listen to music, read the morning paper before I get out mi bed, do my banking, check my email, check my stocks, watch videos &amp; movies, text message, now just starting to use Skype to make my long distance calls to JA and to other parts of Canada , read books, alert me to when I am approaching a red light camera, electronic sign (great ice breaker for meeting women) , a wireless modem for my laptop so I can log onto the internet from pretty much anywhere, translate languages for me when I go travelling and even can be used as a flashlight with the touch of the screen. The uses just keep increasing day after day.

I agree, before you purchase the iPod maybe look at a smartphone which can perform so much more for the money. Just compare which one may be right for you. They are expensive yes but for some people like myself a LAN line is no longer necessary so you save money having it disconnected.

Milo Man, these things are VERY important

best way to distinguish mind from other ppl's cause how many men are gonna have a hot pink ipod


Anyhow, I have a smartphone and checked them out like Kia suggested. The issue I have with it is that smartphones dont have the necessary battery life to run those porgrams. You can listen to music yes but not for 36 hours straight like and ipod.

And for me, my cell phone is mainly for business. I cant have my battery being drawn down constantly like it does when I play music for periods at a time.

the smart phone sounds ideal and all. but with my current cell phone I have to be charging it quite often, and if wah nylah seh is true about battery life i cant do that.

I dont have a land line so i need my cell to be fully charged at all times, well most times

plus can the smart phone store 4000 song too

Yes I can understand your points regarding the smartphone and the constant charging. The phones which will be released in the coming year will begin to feature a new display which will dramatically decrease the need for charging.

The new iPhone 3Gs has 32 GBs so yes it could hold the 4,000 songs quite comfortably.

I get what you mean about keeping the phone for business. I guess it's different for me becuase I just use mine fi fun!

I have a blackberry whereby I can add a mini card and load lots of music but I wont for the reasons I stated already.

I have NO desire to own a iPhone I had a touch screen phone before getting my blackberry and I have no desire to own a next one.Hence my lack of interest in an iPhone.

One thing about the iPod, the headphone suck. The guy suggested that I purchase an additional set of headphones. I wasn't interested because I only listen to my iPod when I'm driving.

I did carry it to the hospital and tried to listen to it while I was in the waiting room. The guy was right the headphones are hard and too big for my ears.
