Well just got my Pink 16GB ipod

I went to Best Buy and the price points were different than online.

16GB 199.99
120GB 269.99

I was going to get the 120GB but felt cheap again after seeing the new price.

So I went to Future Shop and their 120GB was the same price, well 259.99 but the 16GB where a bit cheaper and included a package.

So for 249.00 I got

the 16GB ipod
wall charger
leather skin
2 year full replacement warranty

So I decided to go with that.
I bought Skull Candy ear plugs cause I have small ears and already know the standard ones will bug me.
And the I bought a car unit thingy.
So everything for approx 300.00 which is cheaper than what I would have to buy along with the 120GB if I went that route.

Pretty happy with my decision

It too late now, but you could hav ordered di 120GB online, den picked it up in the store for di cheaper price. I guess you did not know that?

Yes. I have done it many times. Best Buy, Circuit City, Comp USA, etc.

Some of the web sites actually tell you that, but if you call (800#) and ask them they will also tell you if you can.

The ones I mentioned, plus some others, i have used personally to do that, and get a cheaper price, because they are trying to encourage people fi utilize dem web sites. Yes, di price in di actual local store is different.

Not to worry though Nylah!

Some stores, including Future Shop and Best Buy have a policy whereby if you see the exact product advertised for a lower price within 30 days of your purchase they will match it. So in your case if you you could just find it on the web for less $$$ and then print off a copy of the web page and then take it back to the store along with your receipt you should get the difference returned to you. Visit the site of the store where you purchased it and read the fine print as there may be something I am missing but I'm pretty sure they honour it.

Yes dat is one route she could go. She could also take it back, and start the process over from scratch.

Have fun, the only thing I don't have is the wall unit and the headphones. I'm around lots of computers so if I forget to charge mine I just take my dock adapter and plug it in at work.

I'm gonna take a look again and calculate the price differential. I bought some accessories and a few pieces I got for less than $5 so I want to see if the total ends up being less.

Boopie, I did buy some SkullCandy headphones too. Pink of course Mine were 69.95 but cause I was nice to the sales guy he dropped the price to 39.95. It pays to be nice to ppl
