okay so it isnt just me then

I just figured I dont know how to work the rules things well

I go away for a minute and have more than a <span style="font-weight: bold">few hundred </span>emails to sort thru and the problem is I miss some work related stuff and then catch fire for it

Nooo problem sweets. Yuh kno dem hav people, wen dem noh deh ah wuk an yuh sen dem e-mail. Yuh get message back dat yuh e-mail bin deleted, an fi call dem pan dem cell phone if urgent.

Suppose ah wan important email document, an dem hav ie automatically deleted?

so shouldn't biz stuff only know bout yuh biz address?
It soun like yuh use yuh biz address for more den dat purpose tuh mi?
dat is one wi mi cut down on de crap. I've given one address only to ppl mi deal wid pan a biz level.

probably Ny, the easiest solution, would be to mek up a next email addy that is what u will use for toptop important stuff, and keep dat one, for emergency and only close family/friends

of course my biz is for biz only. I still get a lot of emails. Business mail also includes subscriptions and weekly updates from CRA etc. And my other accounts download into Outlook that mixes with biz stuff as well. And that is sorting issue because paramount.

You can group by sender, then go to another level and group by e-mail subject from that sender. You can group by any of the column headers in outlook and then sub-group, and so on and so on.

I think that may help you with the sorting.

I don't use grouping because the way it looks on screen annoys me. But most people that get hundreds of e-mail daily use this function and it seems to work for them.

Peps, yuh kno Outlook inna MS Office 2003 and 2007 act kina fool fool doing di header ting sometimes. Mi wi click pan say ah subject line, den click di subject header, an di blaster ting noh list all ah di related conversations. It act as if none noh deh deh ahtall! Sometimes redoing di process would get it fi kick in, but other times it jus ignored mi. Mi get di same problem pan multiple PC's noh matter whe mi try ie. Das wan ah di biggest gripe mi hav wid 2003 an 2007.

Now MS office 2000, was fantastic at doing dis task. It would find all ah dem every time without fail, noh matter which column heading mi click pan.
