Yes, yes, and yes. I am running through it every which way I can. I have upgraded, den uninstalled and also did a clean install. Wan ting mi can tell yuh fi true, Windows vista did realy bloated. My god, di Vista (alone) full up mi C-drive til mi jus bout run out ah space! Win-7 barely used up di space pan di C-drive, wid whole heap ah room lef fi spare.

X-man, yuh ah wan fairly new laptop or an older one?

how did that install go as mi have a vista laptop that might be worth the upgrade

Depends if yuh doing it pan ah newer Vista compatible laptop, or a XP laptop upgraded to Vista. Wid di former, yuh should be good tuh go, wid di latter yuh may run into driver issues, depending pan di laptop internal hardware OEM.

upgrade, seems to have gone well thus far.
it nuh look like anyting missing juss yet.
de ghosting a de drive took bout 2.5 hours, de upgrade did tek bout 3.

mi jus stawt use it suh if anyting change mi mek unno kno.

Kia, I think you should be OK.

By di way Kister, mek sure yuh use di same version dat pan yuh PC currently. If yuh hav Vista Pro, den upgrade wid Win-7 Pro, etc.

D, ah dat mi ah sey! A clean install if Vista (without any data), took mi bout one hour and ah half fi Ghost, vs. Win-7 whe took mi approx 20 minutes fi Ghost.

From whe yuh ah indicate, ah guess yuh upgraded and did NOT do ah clean install?

If not, mek sure install di programs fus before yuh delete di old image.

yeh is just de upgrade mi duh.
A dat sony senn mi, dem actually senn mi two copies wid two different serial numba an product key. It came wid de windows 7 upgrade and a windows 7 companion disc. It was very easy fi deal wid.

I have a 3 year old Desktop and a 2 year old lap top that may need to be upgraded. Don't know how long I can hold out on moving a way from this buggy/annoying Vista. I will back up my files before an upgrade but I am hoping there is no need to restore them after I do the upgrade.

I am going to move from Vista as well. I'd love to do a clean install when the time comes but I'll wait until I get reviews from you <span style="text-decoration: line-through">geeks</span>, er, I mean fellow boardites.
