Once you are using the Firefox browser, go to mozzila add ons. there you download the adblock 1.1.1. Then you will see a little logo down in the lower right hand corner. Click on that and add the &quot;filter&quot; that is at the top of the menu. That ought to do it for you.

What ads? Using chrome with an ad blocker. Every once in a while, a particular page does some strange things. Disabling the adblocker usually fixes. When it doesn't, that's a bug in Chrome and is reported.

I never warmed up to mozilla or firefox, but loving the chrome. Makes IE look really really slow.

Dat's a personal decision. Try it, you might like it. I think the tabs in google mek' more sense than in IE 7. My issues with firefox when I tested it way back, was that things were not logical. The newer versions have improved significantly, but right now, I am using Chrome. The Chrome Adblocker is a third party application and requires a tiny bit of fussing to get it to work, but if you can follow directions, you can do it. The fussing requires downloading the adblocker, finding that file, then changing the shortcut to add on a few characters to point to that file. You also have to know how to disable it. As I said, some of the pages can occasionally do strange things and it's sometimes impossible to tell if it's the blocker or a bug. So when you disable the blocker, look at the page, if it works, then it was the adblocker. If it doesn't, it's a bug.
