Connect both my laptops tuh dis TetraByte drive mi jus buy?
I want the TB to be a central location where files (music) can be shared between the two widout mi haffin tuh disconnect an reconnect.
Should I do this wireless or a usb Y cable through the usb hub?

how dat go?
What mi have now is de TB drive hooked to the main laptop via de usb hub. I'm thinking if I get the above cable den dem could both (laptops) access de TB and what evah else mi add tuh de hub, a nuh suh?

de only ting mi duh so far was format de drive and now it is linked to the main laptop an mi want de oddah laptop fi have access to it.

First of all I would rename the USB as &quot;B&quot; drive to avoid any letter conflicts on the network (since you don't have a FLOPPY drive).

For XP you would:

Right click on My Computer &gt; Manage &gt; Disk Management &gt; Right Click on USB (Removable) &gt; Change Drive Letter &gt; Assign the following drive letter &gt; Select &quot;B&quot; &gt; OK.

this is what I do if I use the said cable up above?
I named that drive &quot;Z&quot; by de way before I formatted it.

That letter should work for mapping to, so long as nutten else pan di network automatically tries to use di &quot;Zed&quot; letta.

I wouldn't access the drive at the sametime, only when I transfer my music files from computah to the drive and then move the same files tuh de nex computah
