That is OK since you don't want to try that either.
since it can't do that at this stage.
the first repair option is if it is working properly but some other driver is damaged, but the driver that i sdamage controls the C drive that is why.
It will give you the repair option later.
That is after it give you the warning that if you select new, you will lose the data.
You won't lose the music and stuff, you will only lose the software that was added.

Unless you change the ram and fit the wrong configuration. I changed the ram bout 2 years ago, but it was from some chinese ppl in toronto mi did buy it from still.

When you change the ram did it give you the right amount when you check the computer configuration?
If it is Centon i would not trust it.
what is the configuration you have?
I bought ram at a Microwarehouse in Cambridge and got some of those that I had ot return, after using it for over a year. yes it gave me correct amount when I checked it.
I put two 1gig sticks in.
I'll take the laptop with me 2morrow to Canada Computers and si wah really a gwaan.

It is not the amount that is the problem is the way they come up with the amount.
If the chips on the sticks are in 32 mag configuration, it will cause the error.
Those chips are really for servers th eones that are for desktops and laptops, have to be in 16 megs.
I am not saying that is your problem.

It is a simple matter to check the RAM. Just remove them, and put the original RAM sticks back in and see if the problem is corrected.

That is what Idoid and solve the problem. Then i call the dealer and complain and they ask me to return them. Doc suppen like dat drove mi crazy several years back fi bout one year. Mi bought ah motherboard wid ram and CPU already installed. Mi kept getting crashes an blue screen. Come tuh find out after pulling mi hair out trying just bout everyting, di F-ing idiots put parity RAM inna di board, wen it called fi non-parity RAM. All dat time sem kept denying sey ah dem motherboard ah di problem, dem keep ah blame mi installed software an heat. Mi called dem after mi finally troubleshoot di problem, an gi dem ah piece ah mi mind an den some. Dem sen mi di correct memory after mi cuss dem out. Mi plug di flipping new memory in, an problem fixed.

You will be amazed how many of the times this happen. unless you are willing to solve the problem, you have to buy a new system and throw away a completely good one.

because some idiot does not realize that non parity come in certain configuration and even if it say non-parity and the configuration is wrong it is not non parity.
I understand that it is a fraud perpetrated by unscrupulous sellers.
the parity is very cheap, so they will buy them in bulk and then put non-parity labels on them too.
It is a very big thing. Only it fool most of our people because they were not trained to solve problem themselves.
I am a problem solver.
and so far have not found one that I don't solve myself.

I don't know if dis have anyting di duh wid it. I guess it's possible doe.
Inside de laptop had two sticks of 5300 when de unit call fah 4200.
suh mi pick up 2 stick.
