I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T500

Even though my hard drive did just crash I still would pick it over a Dell any day of the week.

My desktop is a Dell and I cant wait to change it out in a couple of yrs. I have owned so many Dell products and have had only headaches that I wont go back.

Thanks Nylah, I am leaning towards the Lenovo as well. They seem to have a better longevity track record.

Right there with you. Between home &amp; office I use laptops by LeNovo, Dell, Acer, and Mac; Mac is by far the best of the four.

Dell makes very good server towers, but for the laptop question, pesonally i would go with the Lenovo as well. That is of course, AFTER checking that the Vista VIDEO driver is also compatible with Windows 7. It is NOT necessarily a given that Win-7 will support the Vista video chip driver, or the network card drivers for that matter.

i made the laptop decision during the holidays

i chose MSI - less than $500

with technology changing ever day - the lifespan of PC's is so short - why spend a bundle

the MSI i got does everything any laptop does - go online - i even have speakers and webcam with HD screen

why spend the money?
