I'm glad that you posted this...I have an older version of the HP printer, scanner, fax and copier, but since I changed an ink cartridge, [bout 2 wks now] I can no longer print from the internet....keep telling mi ish bout "offline"

I can print from Word and job-related articles, [special links] but not from the net directly.

Was/am planning to buy a new machine, but since mi read dis, it definitely won't be an[other] HP....dem too confusing where finding help on the net is concerned, at least a soh mithink.

cannot reinstall it fi sum reason eidah; soh dat suggestion is mooot.

The problem I found with mine was that instead of the USBport

recognize the printer protocol, it recognized the card readers That

are on it, And assigned them as the printer.

So when the Puter send stuff to be printed, it can't find tgd printer.

My fix was to place the disc in the cd-rom and download the drive again.

(From memory. might be missing a step...) Control panel-&gt;users-&gt;user account security. Uncheck the box-&gt;Reboot.

Edit: Also check for *.tmp files and delete them.

Bottom line is, HP noh kno how fi mek All-In-One printers properly! Dem bin having dis problem from dem PSC 2210 model, wid de lock out software, once di original factory shipped ink cartrage run low an yuh haffi change dem out. After dat ah pure crap di All-In-wan wi start duh.

Mi had was fi duh som crazy push button combination fi get ie fi scann into di computer.

I finally got mine to scan. Used the buttons on the device instead of goin thru the software
