whats the story wid dis,

a next ting to, dem say if u have a crack, u can call smaddy and dem come put a gel ting pan it and bammm, it good as new again???

depends on ur policy..mine covered windshield cracks deductible free

my policy covers it too, with no deductible, but it is considered a claim, so the premiums will go up a little, but is it worth it???

mine never went up so again it would depend on ur policy..if it is goin to affect ur premiums then i would just pay out of pocket and get it done before it tun in wan big crack

i should have fixed it when it first happened, but me did a proscrastinate, now it gween cost me $$$$ is a bimmer, so de glass dem expensive, sooo...me tinking to let the insurance pay fe it, but it will increase the premiums, by a small amt the insurance man say, but wha fe do,

if it longer dan a dollar bill, dem say it haffe replace~

next time, before it gets big, get it fixed~~ lesson learned!!!!

yes cause when it is a teeny crack it can easily be fixed without a windshield replacement.

Ctry just file the claim & down it won't(should not) affect your premium. Esp in the state where you live where the trucks kick up all kinds of debris into your windshield.

It's not an actual moving part I doubt it cost more than $70 above a regular sized glass.

Glass is usually priced by thickness, length, width and weight.

the insurance man say a 300-400 for a reg glass, but mine is $700, him say some glass have diff features, me no know, a dat him say...him seem like him did a talk me out of pay OOP,

I am surprised that windshield damage (comprehensive claim) would make your prem go up. If he says so I guess a so it go for their company and that would be one of the reasons why he is tryng to convince you not to pay out of pocket. They get to charge you for that claim for the next 3 years at least!
