For me none!
I just came in the modern cell phone world this year; I believe apart from Milo I was the last person to get a cell phone on this forum.
I got lucky and came in a BBP, but alas when I found out the operating system was RIM only, that to get any kind of Internet connection I needed an Data Plan from AT@T then that was it.
I did get it with a Data Plan @ first but when I discovered just how much it was costing vis-à-vis my usage I said no way.
I love the BBP as a phone, it was really neat and the Multimedia capabilities was one of the best that I had seen on a phone up till then. I could stuff any video on it and I could listen to Audio without a headset, (which possibly is the only reason why I still have a cell phone).
The Camera on the BBP was also one of the best up that time. The Battery Back is flimsy, but if you pair it with a silicon rubber skin you can drop you phone five times a month like I did, step on it at least once and still have a perfectly working phone.
The replacement is of course my HTC, the built quality is not as good as the BBP but the operating system is more cooperative and the Audio quality is way better. I am still trying to see if I can get all /most of the various Video Codecs to run on it, as it did on the BBP.
As for the MOTO.... don’t know anything about it but I don't want to either unless I get one free.

I just dont like phones with all the buttins and screen showing. They just seem chuck up big and bulky. I have the verizon LG Env..its not as advance as some of them but its nice. Nice keypad and nice screen.

Re: Motorola Q vs Blackberry Pearl by Verizon
what I like about both of them it appears that I can download my work calendar & contacts.. that is the reason I like both..
I like the size of the blackberry but dont want to be committed to a data plan (ah mean I have high speed at home and a land line even if it is voip) so one less piece of technology the better.
I like the qwerty keyboard though cause I can text galore to co workers when we are away from the desk.
the lg env is nice but needs the pda piece fi work fi mi If you don't fight for what you deserve, you deserve what you get.

The CrakBerri Keyboard or more correctly their input system did take some getting use to but once you get used to it is was fairly easy. Of course I did not use it too much after the initial setup, except for mundane tasks such as dialing.
With my HTC and the help of 3rd party software and hacks, I can use it as a flashlight (BBP too), I turned on my TV with it, but the IR Emitter was too weak to consistently change channels, same thing with using it to remotely lock and open the car.
I can get weather updates, get on jamaicans.com, youtube, get google maps all without a Data Plan.

LOL.... this along the line of things I would never do with a Cell Phone. For I it is if all I can do with my Cell Phone is make calls then I don't need one.
Shortly after I got my BBP, I was coming in the house one night and accidentally hit one of the keys on the KB, it lit up and I noticed how bright the little bugger was.
So in the classic Eureka moment I went searching to see if someone had thought of using this as a Flashlight.
I eventually found a program that would make it a Flashlight but I never installed it since by that time I was tired of the BBP as a gadget.
Now with my 8525, it was already Gadget based on the Handset, The operating System and the Hacks available for any Device Operating on Windows.
Moblie Office (MS)
One Note-a program to enable to scribble, draw and send notes (HTC)
Weather Service (HTC, Hacks)
Internet Sharing (Hack)
Video Calls (HTC. Hack)
WMStorage-A program to use your handset a storage device (hack)
JAVA (Hack)
Controlling the EXT-ROM-Open the Extension ROM for extra storage-installation of programs, which is normally hidden by Phone Company (Hacks)
SIM Contact-management-program to manage the contact file stored on your SIM (HTC. Hack)
Better Touch Interface and response (HTC, Hack)
SuperBright-To light up your screen @ its brightest on command (HTC. Hack)
Flashlight-To turn the Video Light on for use as a Flashlight (hacks)
The Handset has an Infrared Transceivers to send and receive files. This is where the Remote Control Application comes in.
NaviRemote and VTO Remote are programs that will utilize the IR Emitter to turn on and off various devices, but of course the one on my HTC was too weak to make it really helpful other than as a curio gadget.
So I hope I can help on shining the light so to speak on the possibilities.

LOL...I think I was making it clear that I look for gadgets while most persons want a phone. So my guide is a don't try this @ home argument.
I think all the phones are good if you are looking for phones, but the HTC line have my props because they are so much more configurable.
