evonovitch you are still being rude and clearly cannot help with getting these toys over,more to the point you seem jealous that a barrel is going over albeit yes it is only one barrel as i can't afford more,but to the children it is for one barrel is better than none.
stop being so rude and hindering the situation and stop saying nobody wants to deal with just 1 person sending just 1 barrel if i got a group of us sending one barrel each -our church of 300 say would you still be so rude?
i will try and ring the numbers the others gave but i do remember calling them a few months ago and you either never get through or answerphone/automated services

Hi,I have been to Jamaica lots of times but this year is my first year trying to bring anything over.
I have a group of children there who will appreciate them.I want to give them as christmas presents.
I appreciate all of the suggestions of what I could do with my money by ways of sponsoring children and the like which my family already do.
I just need to find a way of getting these things there.I will have to call some shipping companies.They all talk jargon ,nothing is simple,then there are waivers and dutys and taxes and high comissions.why can I not just post it send the money and it get there safely?

because fuel is expensive right ? fuel is paid for every leg of the journey, just as &quot;handling&quot; is paid for every leg of the journey.

shipping companies are in business to make a profit, and to full out bill of lading fi yuh or whatever dem a use dese days.

tictoc as you have been to jamaica lots of times you will notice that many things that can be had abroad are also available in the island. given that you are in the uk with a very good extra rate with the jamaican dollar (the reasons we will not go into here) why dont you set aside the cash that you plan to use to purchase the items for the barrels, etc.. and just buy the items down there?

Good point Kia - another possibility IF tictoc has not selected a recipient yet... could always make the online purchases when Xavier posts them for the annual toy drive here at ja.com. That way they are collected, shipped and distributed at one location by ja.com on behalf of the membership/site.
