Joe and I stayed at RD and it was nice but very boring. We thought we went to rest and were bored stiff after a couple days. We even took our friends from Ochi with us and we still left out of there everyday looking for something to do.

(((((ROOOTS)))) me miss you much me friend. Okay…I'm sold on Porti. Your pictures are very pretty however you are right, Runaway looks a little too quiet for the kid. Plus I need stuff to do after dark….ummm…outside the room…but couldn't find anything.

LOL @ Vi. Porti is about 3.5 hrs drive from Mobay.

If ur planning on spending ur whole trip there then it would be best to fly into KIN instead...the drive would be under 2 hrs

as for the road, it is pretty much done up thru to snow hill and that's about 10 mins outside of porti

ETA: if you've never been to kingston, it would be good opportunity to check out some places there..maybe if u have a morning flight, u can stop at port royal for a couple hours before headin to country

Porti have nuff beaches (boston beach, Winifred, San San) you have rafting on the grande, Navy Island Reach falls and for night life, like Bizi sey Roof Night club is always in swing. If not there is always some dance or something going on. </div></div>

lol..did negril to portland in 4 hrs...so mobay to porti should be about that..

then again, we nuh stop an tek pic an tour a ting..

so if she gonna take pics and eat n drink an tek in scenery then add couple hrs to that

a wha???? 3-4 hours from MB...d ng what was I reading???? I was planning on leaving PA to go to the airport but I would perfer not to spend that much time driving on departure day. I would cry til my tear ducts empty. so will have to do an over night in MB. Thanks again MrsKurlie.

Vi..Goblin hill is really nice..like I said up top...its across the street from the blue lagoon and also between Winnifred beach and San San beach.

Thanks Sweet Just Dg. Using a rental so gonna be in a car. I guess caution will be excersized all the way. I'm so excited to finally branch out and stay somewhere other than Negril that the ride will add to the great time. I love riding in Jamaica...even pon de mashed up roads dem

me too Vi. i could ride ride ride all day.

i'll just pitch in and say we stayed at Fern Hill, which is handy to Goblin Hill....place was huge...with not many people there....gorgeous views.

we also have stayed at Search Me Heart....which is a guesthouse in Drapers...run by a great rasta named Culture...i believe Kurlie is related to him. he's got a good location...great neighborhood feel.

stayed at a sweet villa called Tranquility too...its up on the same hill the Bonnie View Hotel is....again...fab views...but the place is $$$$

on the way home....you might consider Pipers Cove or Ja Jewels for a one nighter...and head to the airport from there.

I've driven from Mobay to Porty....it was a long trek...but i enjoyed every minute of it. Helps to know your driver...and stop here and there along the way. </div></div>

Loops, I love any length of drive, short or long, in Jamaica so I'm looking forward to the views and stops along the way. Do you remember any particular stops that are a must see???

Yes...saw pics of San San beach...NICE! another ting me lek about this place is a staff member will cook meals in the villa. oh sister to wake up to fresh cooked ackee and fruits in the morn is alright with ME!!
