Betty is now in ICU and doing very well, we're told.
Doctor says the operation went well and no problems.
My daughter (an ICU Nurse herself) spoke with the staff and all signs are good.
Thanks for your best wishes and prayers , they seem to be working with Jahs help.
This has been a tuff day on us all and we hope tomorrow continues to be a bright day.

I have spoke to her nurse in ICU and she had a very good night and is doing well.Thank Jah.
I think her night nurse is from JA, more on that later...lol.(as Smith would say)

Marnin Annshan! Now that it's getting light out I can see it has been snowing over night. Hey I just realized it's almost light out and it's barely 7am! That's progress!
Oh Stan so nice to get an update from you. Keep us posted of Betty's progress. Sounds likes she's already on the mend. Tell her we're all praying for her speedy recovery.
Hopefully, Dottie will not freak out today......I just wish it would wait to storm til I get back home this afternoon. They make Dottie nuts too Nanook. She freightened and starts shaking and panting. Sometimes I have to give her a valium. lol.

We are supposed to get rain today and of course I have to go out in it. People in Atlanta drive fast fast fast, and they dont care when the roads are wet, drive same way.

It's once again a breezy morning here in Negril. Honestly, this breeze has been almost continuous since November, what a pleasant change for us.
I have been working and selling to the hotels once again. They are keeping me on my toes with many different needs and requests. It's challenging to say the least. And this is the first time I have sold so much jewelry to individuals living here and vacationing. That has been the most fun for me. Yesterday a friend, a wedding planner who lives here came by and again bought gifts to carry back to the US where she is going to spend some time with her family. It makes me happy that she comes to buy things every couple of months and she loves that I make custom pieces to fit her.
Another great thing is that my son offered on Valentines Day to build my website for me. So I'm putting all my ideas together and sent him photos to work with. This means not only will it save me money BUT it will truly be made with love and that alone is a blessing in my life.
I'm finally going today to the new hotel that was built 3 chains up from my yard. It turns out that the man who cuts my hair moved into that salon / spa from working on the beach road. So even though I have been invited to come onto the property 100's of times, today will be my first. I am sure it is beautiful, the location is breathtaking.
So I have much to do today and I am feeling good about life and those around me. I want to say that I've made a new very good friend who has been great to have in my world, you know her well from the board. It's wonderful when two spirits link and connect and the world seems much brighter and adventures feel even more exciting.
Nooks - good that your mom is out of ICU ... but - you say she will not be going home ... what do you mean?? does she have to remain in the hospital?? so sorry for that ~
