Yup ... Girl makes friends all around the world ...

Prior to her moving to Negril - we worked together here in Minneapolis for a couple years ... and of course - Jamaica drew us together!!

known her a long time ~ she is a good girl!! Mr. sees her every so often ... gives me an update on her now and then, cuz I usually never get to link her when I am there.

my 'screen name' is my real name ... she will know me!!

ok, she is leaving today so you may have a chance to meet up with her there. she is taking some much needed rest after having 2 weddings on V-Day and one the day after.

Great News: Wed 1:00PM
Betty is doing excellent now. They are going to get her up later today.They have her out of ICU and in a room now.
Betty tells me she has no pain in her legs for the first time in many years. This means she can walk the beach , Jah willing in April.

As mentioned, her nurse in ICU was from JA, Paula Lawerence from Little London. She had worked in Sav and Mobay and now is in Canada working at Sunny Brook Hospital.
So you know she had first class care.
We know a few of the same people too, how cool is that.

I won't keep up with the updates after this as I've bored you people enough....lol
Except to say &quot;Thank You All&quot; from the bottom of my heart for the emails and postings , and prayers for my Betty.
It means so much coming from all our boardie family.

Marnin everyone! RastaStan, it is such great news about Betty. I know first hand how hard it is to fight never ending pain, what a relief this must be for her and you. Yeah and like Q.K said, we love updates here!

Speaking of updates...howz our likkle Ethan?

Last night when I was talking to my mother it seemed so funny to hear their dog barking in the hospital! My dad was able to bring Molly for a visit.

It isn't looking like she will ever go home because she can't seem to manage to take care of herself. I have been trying to talk them into moving into assisted living for a couple of years and now it seems the decision has been made for her only now she is nursing home bound instead.

Well today Paris is getting her big girl hair cut! We worked on her yesterday at the grooming shop then I was up till 11 last night working on this hair. In an hour we'll leave here and go back to the doggie beauty parlor and when she comes home late today she will look like a new dog!



It's about 10 below out there so I am not looking forward to tossing out the Pins in the dark/cold. My poor babies.

Windchill did not get his day in court. But the woman who left the nine-month-old colt to freeze in temperatures that dipped as low as 55 degrees below zero will spend time in jail.

Pamela Javenkoski, 48, pleaded no contest Jan. 15 to one misdemeanor count of failing to provide proper shelter for the colt. Wednesday, Douglas County Circuit Court Judge Michael Lucci sentenced her to 45 days in jail. She must also pay a $500 fine and allow authorities to inspect her property to check on animals in her care over the next five years.

A restitution hearing will be set at a later date to determine the amount of restitution owed to authorities and the couple who rescued the colt, Jeff and Kathy Tucker. Assistant District Attorney Rebecca Lovejoy requested restitution of more than $2,000 — a $202 vet bill incurred by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, medical costs for the colt totaling $945.44 and a $1,000 charge for cremating the colt.

“It was better than I expected,” Kathi Tucker said following the sentencing. “I wanted Windchill to have his day in court; I wanted his story to be told and we didn’t get that.”

But, she added, “No amount of jail time will change what happened.”

Javenkoski said she plans to appeal.
