Howdy everyone! Man I miss runnin my mout with you all! Haven't had internet connection since last monday morning and it's making me crazeeee(ier)!

Roots I saw your weather this morning better you than me! One next storm would put me over the edge mi think.

Today the sun is actually out for the first time in I don't know how long, weeks I think. It's still cold as hell but that's a start! I hear we might see 50 for the weekend though!

I'm sittin at Caribou Coffee having cinnamon coffee cake and white hot chocolate. Yummy stuff!

I will be back tomorrow afternoon once the internet is fixed!

April Update on My Betty,

After many weeks of fighting off infections things have gotten worse for my Betty.
After a visit to the doctors office he had me take her straight to the hospital.
I just got in from a 12 hour wait in the emerg dept at Sunny Brook Hospital with her.
They are keeping her in over night and want the vascular specialist to see her tomorrow.
She was admitted to a room and just called me as I come in the door at 12:30 AM from the hospital.
She of course can't sleep and is worried a bit.

She could sure use some of those boardies prayers again , bless you all.

Good Lord ... I was waking this morning just before the alarm at 4:30 ... thinking - why am I awake already ???? it is the WEEKEND after all - I can finally sleep in again after a long week at work ...

and it had only been ONE DAY OF WORKING ~ **sigh**

I was having a chat with Mr. yesterday - reminising over all the wonderful little high-lights of my recent mini reach ~ **sigh** ...

we had plenty of overnight snow on the weekend - it soon melted off tho ~ clear and bright now .. but too COLD ~

I went to pick up Orbra to join me for breakfast and a day at the beach. (This is my birthday week and the big 50 is just around the corner. The week started off not so good, but I decided, what the hell I'm here and I deserve to have some fun.) During breakfast she calls Marilyn to invite her and Magic to dinner at her house and I am invited as well. Well 10 minutes later I was having a dinner party since Orbra doesn't cook Jamaican food and she said why would they want her cooking since they are in Jamaica. Alrighty then!!!

Off to the fish beach, picked out the nicest snapper I could find, then I also bought 3# of parrot to have in my freezer. It was fun for the both of us, Orbras first time to go through the whole process of picking them and waiting the more then 1/2 an hour while they are being cleaned. Good conversations gwaan there at fisherman's beach. Real local conversations as well as joking and laughing.

Then off to the super market to gather up things needed and then the next store for what is still needed and then back to my place. Cleaning and preparing for our guests. I taught Orbra to cook some of what she calls her favorite dishes that I make.

At sunset Magic and Marilyn arrived and we had a wonderful time the four of us. Talking about life, laughing, eating and drinking. I have only ever invited 2 other people from the internet to come into my yard (Orbra and Janey) and this was a treat for me. Wonderful, lovely people, with warm energy and kind smiles. I truly enjoyed myself. Once again Orbra has shown me a nicer side to life. Give thanks. </div></div>
