it's pretty remote. route taxis don't go out there to my knowledge. you need a nice place on the cliffs that does a shuttle to the beach. a new place opened out by where tsmall lives....that's a quiet area, but not sooooo quiet.

i'll see if i can chase her over here with some info.

Hello, good night, rather good morning, I just got in from dancing on the beach tonight.

What you are saying about Jackie's I have heard more then one time. Rules are the name of the game there. So I don't know what to say, unless you are "up" to her rules.

The place that Jaith is talking about just by my yard is Moondance on the Cliffs. It is a BEAUTIFUL big property, but there is nothing going on there, so if you want to be this far out (not as far as Jackies) but still in a countryside setting and want peace and quiet, then check that place out. We, you & I would then be neighbors, lol. They have a wonderful spa there.

There is nothing else out this way as far as hotels go, other then The Westender, which is right across the road from Jackies. It is quiet, not many taxis out this way, but 10 mintues from town and 12 mintutes to the beach.

Thank you for the info TSmall. I just took a look at MoonDance Cliffs and the place looks lovely Never done an all-inclusive before so this shall be interesting And it has spa treatments like I was looking for There is a 20% discount available for the dates I want to go, so I am going to see if the dates are available with them.

I am not big into lots of activities and crowds, so I dont mind a little remoteness as long as I can find my way into town when I am ready. The first part of my trip is to chill and have a massage anyways but I didnt want to be too isolated either

i used to be a beach girl.....couldn't tear me away....til the first night i spent on the cliff. i went out the next morning &amp; saw that blue sky &amp; the hot sun on the rock....the brilliance was deafening...

the beach is nice....but on the cliff, you're up above it all.

Seveen, Negril Onestop is where I have been checking out places I looked at Idleawhile and Seawind and I am on the fence with those 2 places.....

I am not that much of a beach person so that is why I am leaning towards the cliff as jaith suggested. Sitting on the beach for more than an hour really doesnt appeal to me I need to find something else to do real quick.

Tanio Cove is <span style="font-weight: bold">exactly</span> where I want to stay in Treasure Beach Good to know that it come recommended.

The first part of my trip I have no intentions of sightseeing etc. I just want to mill about; read a few books with a drink in hand; and have a couple good massages.

So I am looking for places that allow me to do this.

Good morning,

It sounds like Moondance might meet your needs. I went there to get my hair cut last week and the place is temporarily closed for renovation, tho the spa is open so I was good to go.
BUT I want to say, they hope to have more clientele this season, but you may only see one or two people there if you decide to stay there.

I should have mentioned last night, even tho I wasn't thinking clearly, that Hide Awhile is right next door to Moondance and that is a very quaint, small,beautiful property. Check out their place. HIDE AWHILE

Presently they are finishing a seaside swimming pool. It is the sister property to Idle Awhile on the beach, but it's a cool place. If you want more pics of the property, I can go take some for you, I am good friends with the manager of that property.

I also forgot that my best friend manages a wonderful little property past my house and they are just now renting it out. Check out this link, very cool and laid back. Again I can take more picture if you need of this property, but they did well on this video.

Up the road some, going closer to town you will find The Caves, and that might meet your needs as well. That is a Chris Blackwell property, very cool as well. THE CAVES

If wanted or needed you can use the spa at Moondance anytime.

I will vouch that all of these properties are beautiful and well cared for. I was at Tingalaya yesterday, in the sea pool. I frequent that property.
